• I liked very much the way the book is written. It sounds authentic, straight forward and not particularly politically correct. This book is perceptive and funny. I laughed out loud in many parts turning the pages in anticipation of what comes next. I have a 28 year old daughter, so I am very interested to know what challenges she faces in her dating experiences. What I like about this book is that the authors focus on the self worth of the individual and this is a key to a healthy lifestyle. I would recommend this book to both younger and older dating people and also to those who have been out of the loop for so long that it's nice to connect to our culture which seems to be galloping along but which does need a basis in reality (as opposed to fantasy)
• I love this book! I couldn't put it down. It takes a critically important subject, matchmaking, and gives it the serious attention it deserves (but seldom receives). I think I'd have to read through hundreds of novels to come to the insights the authors outline so clearly for us. The Art of the Date is entertaining, enlightening and amusing. Rori Sassoon's good energy, her courage and her optimism are contagious. Dr. Errol Gluck is obviously a very kind and thoughtful person. I am recommending it to everyone because each of us--man, woman, parent, child, grandchild, friend, acquaintance--can profit from their excellent and specific advice. It gives people looking to match with others the confidence to persevere and shows them how to feel good about themselves. Just reading it made me happy!
• At 48, I'm still looking for my Mr. Right. "The Art of the Date" is filled with inspo and valuable advice to help me find my guy. First and foremost, I learned—and agree with—WHY I need to stop swiping. I have not met my guy on an app and The "Art of the Date" taught me why I will not find him on an app. The numbers don't lie. It ain't happening. Rori and Dr. Gluck taught me what I need to do in "The Art of the Date." This book is perfect for both men and women of every age! Read to learn "The Art of the Date!"

Each chapter stands on its own making it easy to go back and re-read any portion of the book at anytime. Pick up a copy. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It's the perfect book to throw in your bag whether sitting on the train, laying on the beach or simply curled up on the couch.

• I thought it was going too be a hole book, but when I received it. It was only a few pages long. Next time I will make sure too look more closely at the books that I'm buying.
• IT'S BETTER DESCRIBED AS A FLYER....
• For such a short book (or chapter) it uses a great perspective and captures a plethora of materialization about the pineal gland. It made me think a lot and captured my attention. Now I am really fascinated about the Pineal gland and my mind is open to it. I am very glad I read this chapter and am willing to read more from Manly P. Hall !!
• This small 7 page book is not worth $15. I just noticed that, the original book from which this chapter is excerpted is available merely $9.
• Alot of information for the person knowing nothing about the pineal gland and its full potential, the book is more of a generalization of the topic and not a constructive guideline of what most people probably expect on how to open your third eye.
  
  But still by far A Great Little Book and theres only like 3 or 4 blank pages even at the $5 price point I would say the information provided therein is much more valuable than the price you pay.
  
  People stop being so attached to money and physical stuff...... thats the main problem and main reason our pineal gland is calcified and not active in the first place, anyway i tried my best to make an honest review take be blessed and most importantly Remember What you really are..............
• I can't download this audiobook. I get an error message that I don't have a compatible device and I can download the free App - but I already have it. I try to get a new link sent and it never arrives. Going through Audible is equally useless. I downloaded their Audible Download Manager which tries to make me use iTunes although I set it to Windows Media Player. All I want is to get the book I paid for.
• I'll admit it this was one of the more harder reads for me. I love me some Manly P. Hall. Have heard many of his lectures and spent so much time diving into his material. No words can describe the level of knowledge, brilliance, intelligence, and integrity this man had. You bring his name up to people and his work and people look at you crazy. One of the greatest if not the greatest teacher of the 20th century. Symbols of ancient civilizations have meant certain things. Symbols can mean many things, it is the individual who gives meaning to that symbol is the real power.

• Jordan is 22 and has decided with a little convincing from her best friend that Spring Break is the perfect time to have her first time. When the experience wasn’t as she envisioned, she is about to give up on sex when she sees the former high school teacher she has always had a crush on Aaron Carter.
  
  Aaron is 37 and is teaching at the University. Although he is attracted to his former student, he has concerns about crossing that line but Jordan and a nude beach soon convinces him otherwise.
  
  Short and steamy this story doesn’t disappoint. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
• A very well written romantic, sexy, steamy and entertaining read with nice storyline and plot. Characters well described and they develop nicely through the story. Chemistry is amazing and sparks are flying. I like it is written in dual POV because that gives the reader more of the feelings and thoughts of the characters. The epilogue is very welcomed.
  I like the characters "challenge" each other. They both get out of their comfort zones and they do things they normally would not. I like they dare to have scenes where you not expect. It makes the story hot and sweet at the same time. I like the hot scenes because they are so well described that my screen was quite steamy.
  Recommendable short but entertaining story. I like it is sweet but also steamy.
  I do not normally give short stories a five star review but this one deserves it. It is heartwarm, sweet, sexy and romantic. Absolutely a read that I can recommend to others.
• Mulligan. She gets a do over. Sort of.
  
  Jordan is 22 and on spring break for the fourth time. She and her bestie agree it’s time to loose her vCard. So she does with a random. It’s pretty lackluster.
  
  The next day she sees Mr. Carter
  her high school teacher.
  
  Aaron Carter is 37 (old enough to be her dad) and teaching at Daytona’s university. He tries to date somewhat age appropriate but when Jordan approaches him it game on. He was even thinking he’d do it with both Jordan and her bf. But after they make it clear it’s just Jordan, he’s all in.
  
  I do like that they actually had an adult convo about her random (though a lady doesn’t need to justify in the bedroom). That was refreshing.
  Steamy and fun.

• Great read by Alexis Adaire. Spring Break Breaking Bad is part of the Spring Breakers series. Jordan is going on spring break with her best friends and decides its time to lose her virginity. After a less than satisfying first time with a guy she meets at a party, she goes to lunch with her friend to drown her sorrows. She is surprised to see her teenage crush- Mr. Curtis her high school teacher. Mr. Curtis is even sexier than before and he is now a college professor. Mr. Curtis cannot believe how beautiful Jordan is. Jordan is determined to make Aaron Curtis see her as an adult not the student he remembers. Very sexy read with lots of chemistry. Perfect epilogue. When she sees Aaron her former jigh school teacher, she wonders if this could be the moment she goes all wild and will he be willing to show her what going outside of her boundaries is really like? • This was a great story. I couldn't put it down. I wish it was longer.
  
  Jordan is going on Spring Break with her roommate and wants to do something out of character. She is a virgin and wants to get rid of it. She doesn't have the best first time. At lunch one day, she recognize one of the other diners as her formal teacher. She goes to talk to him and they agree to have dinner together. They are attractive to each other but their formal relationship puts up some barriers. Will they be able to overcome this?

• I ordered this book for my daughter and she couldn’t put it down but at page 573, it jumped to 620. I’ve missed the return window. Just make sure to check the pages as soon as you receive the book.
• Great price, but it is all 7 books combined into one volume and one table of contents; which makes navigating to different books and chapters a bit more difficult than if they were 7 distinct books.
• IMPORTANT For U.S. customers purchasing the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, you will notice the text has NOT been converted to the "Americanized" version of the original U.S. releases. This difference isn't as prominent or noticeable as it was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, but still something to keep in mind. Also, to answer a question that has come up quite a bit, this is the FULL BOOK and not an abridged or shortened version.
  
  The overall quality is fantastic. The colors are vibrant and the images are, in my opinion, even better than those in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone The Illustrated Edition (Harry Potter, Book 1).
  
  The best features
  1. Underneath the book jacket, the novel is bound in a sturdy orange hardback with green lettering on the spine.
  2. The paper is thick with an eggshell glossy finish.
  3. All chapter intros are illustrated.
  4. Some images take up full pages or multiple pages. Most illustrations share the page with text.
  5. Every inch of the book is illustrated or decorated in some fashion. There are NO white pages in the book. Even the pages without large illustrations have the paper printed and marked with ink blots or paper "stains". In Chamber of Secrets (compared to Sorcerer's Stone), some pages even have beautiful patterns over the entire page. One page has a spider-web pattern and is right next to a picture of Aragog. Quite brilliant overall.
  
  I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to read the series (again, or for the first time), especially if you plan to read this with someone younger. Based on the fact that the illustrations for this book were even better than in the first book, I'm now looking forward to the rest of the series even more. Prisoner of Azkaban is next and I'm heartbroken it'll be so long before I get to have it in my collection.
• I didn't read Potter as a child, unfortunately Christians were making a fuss over it and it was banned. Now as an adult with an 11 year old daughter I delved in and having read the firs chapter of the first book , I declared I didn't get the fuss...
  
  I am now in my second read through of the books. I finished them in three weeks. We've watched the first three movies and I await my daughter finishing each box anxiously so we can watch the next!
  
  The books are so well written they transport you, nothing less. It's a great escape at the end of the day.
  
  As for all the Christian hullabaloo there's no real magic in the book. It's on par with bewitched or cartoons. I suppose if you're the type to ban Disney then these aren't for you, but for the rest of the population they're really harmless and silly.
  
  The later books are a bit darker but the first several are really kind of cartoon magic.
  
  This second book is better than the first as we are already introduced to all the characters. Character development and friendships deepen in the second book and you begin to become attached to the little magicians and start to realize why this series created such a rabid fandom.
  
  The books are adventurous and imaginative and have so much heart. The stories are packed with substance- very little to no filler in these books. They're a kids series, but it's the first time in a long time I have read a book and didn't feel like skimming a good bit. There's nothing you want to miss in these!
  
  It's great for a parent to read with their child, bc anytime you can bond over something especially as they get older it's a wonderful thing.
  
  And for those adults who didn't read as a kid, go ahead, you won't be bored. Yes they're kids books but they're written on a level everyone can enjoy. That's the real magic!
• The Chamber of Secrets is in my opinion the weakest of the Harry Potter books. Still, it is a great read compared to 90% of other books in general, and 99% of other children's fantasy novels. The art in these books are simply amazing. They add to the story subtly, rather than take the story over as the movies did. To me, this is vital, as part of the joy of the Harry Potter world is the evocation of your imagination. I am happy to give my kids a little push with art, as they clearly still create their own images of quidditch, Hagrid, and the often explosive and unexpected effects of Ron's broken wand.
• The book started out good but discovered as I was reading it that it's missing almost 50 pages in the middle of the book. Disappointing and frusterating
• These Illustrated edition’s are my first time ever reading the Harry Potter series, and I am so happy to be reading the series through these editions. The illustrations add so much magic, liveliness, intrigue, and fun to the story of Harry Potter. I absolutely love these editions and I can’t wait to turn each page to see the story progress as well as see the beautiful illustrations. I can’t recommend these books enough especially if you have never read Harry Potter, this is the perfect way to start and truly be immersed in the world of Hogwarts and the magic that each page brings. J. K Rowling’s writing is so much fun to read and it truly keeps you captivated in the plot, settings and characters. The writing is also the kind that keeps you from not wanting to stop as the book is so well written and portrayed through words. This is quickly becoming one of my top two series I have ever read. 100% recommend getting the illustrated edition as you will fall in live from the first page.
