• I liked very much the way the book is written. It sounds authentic, straight forward and not particularly politically correct. This book is perceptive and funny. I laughed out loud in many parts turning the pages in anticipation of what comes next. I have a 28 year old daughter, so I am very interested to know what challenges she faces in her dating experiences. What I like about this book is that the authors focus on the self worth of the individual and this is a key to a healthy lifestyle. I would recommend this book to both younger and older dating people and also to those who have been out of the loop for so long that it's nice to connect to our culture which seems to be galloping along but which does need a basis in reality (as opposed to fantasy)
• I love this book! I couldn't put it down. It takes a critically important subject, matchmaking, and gives it the serious attention it deserves (but seldom receives). I think I'd have to read through hundreds of novels to come to the insights the authors outline so clearly for us. The Art of the Date is entertaining, enlightening and amusing. Rori Sassoon's good energy, her courage and her optimism are contagious. Dr. Errol Gluck is obviously a very kind and thoughtful person. I am recommending it to everyone because each of us--man, woman, parent, child, grandchild, friend, acquaintance--can profit from their excellent and specific advice. It gives people looking to match with others the confidence to persevere and shows them how to feel good about themselves. Just reading it made me happy!

• A great, quick read that will appeal to anyone single or married. The book is filled with lots of great tips on dating and relationships, told from the he said - she said perspective. The authors are witty, sassy and definitely keep your attention from beginning to the very last page. While the ideas are serious they are put in a way that is very relatable. Each chapter stands on its own making it easy to go back and re-read any portion of the book at anytime. Pick up a copy. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It's the perfect book to throw in your bag whether sitting on the train, laying on the beach or simply curled up on the couch.
